Cultivation - Cultivation Technician For IPM and Irrigation
Water, fan, and drain the plants,
cut and clean the mother plants.
Assist in the cloning of plants,
defoliate the flowering plants by respecting the flowering cycle and operate machinery for filling pots.
Place plants in designated areas, on tables, or in shelves, respecting the flowering cycle

Clean production spaces and equipment
record production data accurately and assist the Assistant Grower and/or the Master Grower when
Follow and enforce SOP, GMP and GACP guidelines and procedures at all times
Scout grow rooms, identify pest and disease pressure, assess plant health and log & communicate findings
Apply biologicals or spray approved pesticides to treat issues, in accordance with label recommendations and Health Canada guidelines
Liaise with managers, supervisors, growers and cultivation technicians in various capacities in regards to plant health
Submit daily reports to relevant Managers and Supervisor/Lead
Valid New Brunswick Pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain is require
High level of documentation and communication skills
Basic plant health and plant biology knowledge
Basic knowledge of cannabis pests and diseases, and biological/organic pest control options
Basic knowledge of ideal cannabis growing environments
Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Lead Production Supervisor.
The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the use and maintenance of the Irrigation system, and for ensuring the consistency and quality of nutrition provided to the crop throughout all stages of growth.
This person must be professional, and a personable leader committed to the overall objective and self-development within the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain full compliance with all ACMPR laws and regulations
Operation and maintenance of all irrigation equipment and controls, in addition to overseeing any repairs or upgrades
Handling, mixing, and applying fertilizer and nutrient mixes at measured concentrations to meet the needs of the crop
Ensure safe handling, use, storage, and disposal of chemicals
Use of the Argus automated system to monitor and adjust the irrigation settings and environmental control parameters
Perform regular calibration of meters and scales for monitoring and measurement, with completion of accompanying paperwork
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve problems related to irrigation and environmental control
Perform regular tests of the system to ensure consistent working condition across all zones in the facility
Collect and analyze water, feed, and runoff samples to determine if an adjustment to the nutrient schedule is needed
Complete and maintain proper documentation of all necessary activities in compliance with ACMPR regulations
Communicate effectively with the cultivation team and other departments to ensure a smooth production process
Supervise others performing irrigation tasks and activities
Must be able to obtain a Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC) security clearance
Completion of High School diploma
AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (Preferred)
Minimum 1-year experience in irrigation, agricultural/greenhouse production, or a related field considered an asset
Proficient knowledge of the materials and equipment used in an automated irrigation system
Experience with ARGUS would be highly desirable
Industrial automation experience and/or knowledge as well as a knowledge of computer controls considered a strong asset
Experience using hand tools considered an asset
Basic agricultural knowledge considered an asset
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently
Ability to stay organized and manage time and workload to meet deadlines
Understanding of computers, documentation software, Word and Excel considered an asset
Standing & walking for long periods of time
Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Salaried Position: Shift Work.
