We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide essential assistance and support to our son with disabilities. Responsibilities
- We are in search of an individual who will accompany our son in community outings and programs,
- Assist in our son's personal care and development,
- Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment promoting dignity and self-esteem,
- Safely engage in recreational activities that promotes social interaction and emotional well-being,
- Qualifications
- Prior experience or training with special needs individuals,
- Educational background, in caregiving, physical or occupational therapist assistance and/or nursing,
- A strong level of both verbal and written communication,
- A compassionate attitude with patience, empathy, respecting individual differences,
- An ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs,
- This role is vital in supporting the independence and quality of life for our son. You will have the comfort of comprehensive family support in order to succeed in this position.
Pay: $20.45-$25.25 per hour
