Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Lead to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and food industry experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for supervising team members, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a positive dining environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Lead and motivate team members, including interviewing and training new staff to uphold company standards.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage cash handling procedures using Micros POS systems accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food handling, safety standards, and sanitation protocols across all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist with customer service issues, resolving complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Support restaurant management in implementing policies, procedures, and operational goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for staff and guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices within the restaurant or food industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with prior supervising or team management experience in hospitality settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Knowledge of restaurant management operations including food handling, serving, and hospitality standards.
- Ability to train and interview new staff effectively while fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in restaurant management or hotel/hospitality roles is preferred; barista experience is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
