How You Will Thrive With Us
- Provide administrative support to the Rexel Midwest Distribution Center team, such as data entry, filing, and document management.
- Ensure a high level of customer service, responding to customers' (internal and external) needs in an efficient, accurate and professional manner to facilitate seamless operations.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining quality standards, conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance, managing non-conformities and corrective actions, and continuously improving processes.
- Invoicing/ Credit notes/ Customer inquiries.
- Receive and distribute daily mail, reports.
- Ability to cross train with 2 other team members for holiday coverage and relief.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for warehouse staff.
- Responsible for inventory management, which involves planning and executing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, resolving discrepancies and variances, and updating inventory records to accurately reflect actual stock levels.
- Support the warehouse manager with various administrative duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to administrative tasks.
- Answer all incoming calls and direct to the proper individuals or department.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring To The Table
- Grade 12 education (or equivalent), or the equivalent of education and experience
- Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Proficiency in office software and systems, including Microsoft Office suite, AS400 an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus
