Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lawn Care and Snow Removal Crew Member to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves providing high-quality landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal services to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical aptitude, and be committed to maintaining the beauty and safety of outdoor spaces year-round. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and construction-related tasks while working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive lawns.
- Conduct snow removal operations using shovels, plows, and snow blowers during winter months to maintain safe walkways and driveways.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as excavators, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Assist with landscape installation projects including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; installing irrigation systems; and maintaining gardens.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
- Support construction-related activities such as site preparation, grading, and minor repairs as needed.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during outdoor work.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet client expectations.
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining power tools, hand tools, excavators, and irrigation equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, shoveling snow, digging trenches, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail in performing outdoor maintenance tasks.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.
