Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, coordinating patient appointments, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within a busy medical or dental office. Prior experience with electronic medical records and office management systems is essential, along with strong communication skills and familiarity with medical terminology. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages accurately
- Maintain and update electronic medical records using systems such as Epic and Dentrix
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing procedures
- Prepare and organize paperwork for patient visits, including intake forms and consent documents
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies
- Support clinical staff by ensuring timely documentation and communication between departments
- Handle administrative correspondence and manage incoming/outgoing mail or emails
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a Medical Office setting preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records systems such as Epic or Dentrix required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Office experience in administrative roles within healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical staff
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor

Pay: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per hour
