Footprint Custom Carpentry Inc. is a growing custom home and carpentry company based in Greater Victoria, building custom homes, carriage houses, saunas, and custom outdoor spaces including decks, pergolas, and outdoor kitchens.
We’re currently hiring one experienced carpenter to join our core team as we take on larger, more complex projects.
What you’ll do
- Framing, exterior work, and high‑end interior finishing on custom homes and small commercial projects.
- Outdoor carpentry including decks, walkways, pergolas, shade structures, and outdoor kitchens.
- Occasional sauna and specialty builds for hospitality and residential clients.
- Working with a small, tight‑knit crew and partner builders, keeping sites safe, tidy, and professional.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years residential carpentry experience (framing and finishing).
- Red Seal certification in Carpentry is a strong asset but not strictly required.
- Able to read plans, work efficiently with minimal supervision, and mentor junior team members when needed.
- Reliable transportation to sites in Greater Victoria/Sidney and the ability to work outdoors in all seasons.

Compensation and details
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certification.
- Full‑time, in‑person work in Greater Victoria / Sidney.
- Mix of long‑running projects and shorter specialty builds, with room to grow into lead or working project manager responsibilities over time.
Pay: $38.00-$46.00 per hour
