Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise ski patrol team members to deliver prompt, professional emergency assistance and rescue operations.
- Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk management strategies tailored to mountain conditions.
- Coordinate with resort management to ensure safety policies are effectively communicated and adhered to by staff and guests.
- Oversee incident investigations, documenting events thoroughly and recommending preventive measures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of slopes, equipment, and facilities to identify hazards proactively.
- Facilitate training sessions for patrol staff on emergency procedures, first aid, and rescue techniques.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during emergencies, liaising with local emergency services and internal teams to coordinate responses efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in high-pressure environments.
- Strong background in emergency management, first aid certification, and rescue operations.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey safety procedures and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions during emergencies.
- Physical fitness capable of performing rescue activities in challenging mountain terrain.
- Knowledge of ski resort operations, slope safety standards, and relevant regulations is preferred.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
