Description of the job

You will be part of A220 Procurement for Equipment and Systems and you will in charge of the work package Electrical Systems embedded in A220 and will report to the System Commodity Leader SCL / MFT Leader for Electrical Systems and to the Head of A220 Equipment and Systems based in Mirabel. The job is located in Airbus Canada at Mirabel Canada.

In your role:
you will be responsible for the implementation of Airbus Procurement actions on Electrical work package for A220 Program. The job holder contributes to Multi-Functional Team MFT and Systems Commodity activities. The job holder supports the definition and implements the Commodity Strategies and is in charge of the Procurement Process for his/her perimeter.

You will be directly in charge of the contract administration for a portfolio of suppliers. This includes:

Monitoring of the contract with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve, throughout the contract life cycle, a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions Logistics, support, quality, cost....
Co-ordination with the Multi-Functional Team Engineering, Program, Finance and Supply Chain etc. for all activities related to the contracts.
managing the process of selecting suppliers
purchasing of the respective equipment and systems,
compliance with Procurement Procedures,
enforcing and updating applicable contracts throughout the equipment and system life cycle including the negotiation of change requests,
managing the business interface with part of the supplier base and
significantly supporting the achievement of Cost Reduction Targets for your perimeter
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Procurement experience essential, although applications from applicants with good business experience and knowledge of the Procurement process are also welcomed.
Experience in working in a multi-functional environment.
Experience in stakeholder management and influencing internal customers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Commercial / Contract / Finance knowledge is desirable.
Negotiation level in English, other languages would be an asset.
