As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services while also engaging in retail sales and upselling products to enhance the client experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services for clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their desired styles and recommend suitable products.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling hair care products to clients.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to provide the best service possible.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong skills in hair styling, cutting techniques, and grooming services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling products is preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and the ability to maintain a clean work environment.
- A valid barbering license or certification training is required.
