Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently while adhering to store policies
- Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or technology sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising practices, and cash handling procedures is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
