Reporting to the Manager or Coordinator CYF-RS Manager or Delegate, the Behavioral Consultant conducts comprehensive behavioral assessments, develops and implements behavioral interventions and provides individual/group services to children & youth involved with the Early Intervention Program working within an interdisciplinary team.
Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment and may require the use of a personal vehicle.
Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or other relevant health related discipline. A minimum of two (2) years' recent experience providing direct behavioral assessment to pre school children with complex care needs and neurodevelopmental conditions. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred.
Valid BC Driver's License.
