Great Beer Starts Here.
At GP Brewing Co., we're a locally owned and operated beverage manufacturing facility that's been producing high-quality, crushable, affordable beer since 2016. Along the way we've grown into beer, spirits, and ready-to-drink beverages, but one thing hasn't changed. We care about making great products with great people.
We believe that if you can do it better, you should. It's a simple philosophy that shapes how we work every day and reflects the standard we hold ourselves to.
What does the job look like?
While every batch follows a recipe, each day brings a different combination of brewing, cellar work, tank transfers, cleaning, quality checks, troubleshooting, and preparing beer for packaging. Much of your day will be spent working independently, making decisions within established processes, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently.
Your day could include:
- Brewing and producing beer to established recipes and specifications
- Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, hoses, pumps, and brewing equipment
- Monitoring fermentation, temperatures, pressures, and production data
- Performing tank transfers, carbonation, filtration, and yeast handling
- Recording production information and quality checks
- Preparing beer for packaging
- Identifying issues before they become problems and communicating them promptly
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe brewery
This is a physically demanding role. You'll spend most of your day on your feet, climbing stairs and ladders, moving hoses, connecting tanks, handling raw ingredients, and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. You'll work in environments ranging from cold storage to hot brewhouse conditions. While the schedule is typically Monday to Friday, production occasionally requires longer days of 10 to 12 hours to keep beer moving through the system.
Who succeeds here?
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work. The successful candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage their time without constant direction. They understand that consistency isn't just important, it's what makes great beer.
We're looking for someone who is physically fit and:
- Reliable and accountable
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a larger production team
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality
- Mechanically minded and naturally curious
- Organized and disciplined in following established procedures
- Calm under pressure and able to adapt as production priorities change
Brewing experience is certainly an asset, but it isn't the only path into this role. We've had success with people from engineering, commercial kitchens, well testing, food production, manufacturing, and other process-driven industries where recipes, temperatures, timing, sanitation, and consistency are critical to the final product.
If you've built a career around following a process, solving problems, and taking ownership of your work, we'd love to hear how your experience applies. We'll provide the brewing-specific training for the right person.
