What you'll do:
· Ensure production plan is carried out and consistent product quality manufactured.
· Work towards attaining production goals, objectives and standards.
· Respond to routine operational issues.
· Provide direction and information to personnel to ensure adequate support to employees and track issues.
· Manage and plan training, sanitation, equipment related programs.
· Ensure quality by practicing and enforcing GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and SQG requirements.
· Respond to QA issues with 24 hours.
· Coordinate between different departments to be audit ready year-round.
· Develop and maintain team-based work environment by providing leadership, direction, coaching, training and communication.
· Identify, assemble and manager human resources (work scheduling, performance development, employee relations).
· Apply company policies and procedures in an equitable manner.
· Communicate any issues, or requirements with HR.
· Complete Health and Safety related tasks on the floor such as toolbox talks, ensuring employees are covered to participate in the JHSC, completing inspections, ensuring the safety and well-being of employees.
· Contribute to the Continuous Improvement environment.
· Collection of data for various departments.
· Additional tasks as required.
· Provide technical advice and support to different departments.
· Provide technical assistance and advice to customers related to our products.
· Manage the development of new products in relation to customer needs.
· Participate in the upscaling process for new products.
· Maintain positive working relations with current and new customers.
· Recognize and respond to customer opportunities – interpret needs, offer options, solutions, and resolutions.
· Work closely with the R&D, QA, and production departments.
· Liaison between internal departments and customers to ensure customer requirement and expectation are met.
· Work to meet sales targets.
· Maintain a database of customer contacts and records.
What you've done:
· 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory role.
· Experience working under HACCP/SQF system and maintaining this system.
· Relevant degree/diploma with a concentration in Science, Business or Food or Manufacturing Engineering

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
