Overview
Now in its 26th year of operation, Ridgeway Occupational Consultants Inc. is an occupational health service provider to both individuals and companies, including private corporations, municipalities, and universities. Our Mississauga Clinic provides occupational related medical examinations.
Responsibilities – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Mississauga, ON - Mondays and Wednesday) 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Fridays 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Ridgeway’s Medical Office Assistant provides onsite services at our clinic 2.5 days per week, including:
- Booking appointments/handling the clinic schedule
- Answering phones/emails
- Intake patients into exam rooms
- Assisting physicians and staff with medical and administrative activities
- Filing and chart preparation
- Invoicing and processing payments
- Record keeping
Additional Responsibilities (onsite training provided)
- Administering PFTs, audiograms, etc.
Qualifications:
- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or equivalent who is willing to learn.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Medical office experience considered a significant asset.
