Strong Mobile Marine Service is hiring several full-time Marine Surface Preparation & Paint Application Technicians for immediate start.
This role involves marine surface preparation, coating application, and general project support on a variety of job sites throughout the Lower Mainland. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation including grinding, sanding, scraping, washing, and masking
- Apply marine coatings and paint to company standards
- Assist with job setup, material handling, site organization, and cleanup
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment
- Work efficiently as part of a crew on active marine and industrial job sites
Qualifications
- Experience in marine painting, industrial coatings, surface preparation, or related labour is an asset
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a productive team environment
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively with people of different ethnicities and backgrounds
- Ability to take direction and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
