Position Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance within manufacturing environment, with a focus on preventive maintenance, team leadership, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing maintenance processes to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance
- Plan and direct maintenance activities across all shifts, prioritizing projects for effective operations and cost efficiency.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
· Contact relevant companies and sub trades to complete specific tasks outside of team’s expertise
- Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal.
· Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work. Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for preventive maintenance programs
- Plan and manage a facility's maintenance budget
- Ensure establishment is clean and well-maintained
· Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
· Oversee and ensure maintenance operations are completed safely and efficiently
Qualifications:
· Proven experience (5 years minimum) as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or related industries.
· Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
· Solid understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
