The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Chair of Health to provide direct supervision, mentorship, and support for faculty, clinical instructors, support staff and students. The Chair is responsible for academic management of these Health programs ensuring effective development and delivery. The Chair focuses on quality academic programs, excellence in teaching, service and commitment to student success.
What you need to be successful:
- 7-10 years of progressive administrative experience
- Strong and effective leadership and team building skills
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Extensive knowledge in curriculum design, implementation, development and program planning
- Budget management experience
- A student success approach to the teaching and learning process
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree and significant progressive leadership experience in health care and/or post-secondary education
- Master’s degree in a Health profession, Education, or Business Administration is preferred
This is a full-time administrative position. Salary range is a Pay band 13, $115,032 and $153,374 and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
