Overview
We are seeking a Red Seal Construction Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced and comfortable in a commercial construction environment. The candidate will require a general understanding of lighting, lighting control systems, fire alarm systems, branch circuits, and the CEC. We require all employees to prioritize safety on the construction sites. Full PPE is required at all times on Raymond Electrical construction projects.
Duties
- Work on commercial electrical systems on various types of projects from office renovations to retail tenant improvements.
- Read and interpret electrical plans. Understand basic commercial construction methods.
- Work with extra low voltage and communication type systems including data /telecom.
- Perform renovation tasks involving electrical upgrades or modifications in existing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to install wiring, outlets, panels, and other electrical components.
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction or renovation projects requiring electrical expertise.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Complete time card for payroll by system code for accurate project tracking.
Requirements
- Valid Red Seal Construction Electrician Certificate.
- Proven experience as a commercial construction electrician.
- Familiarity with renovation /new construction projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications.
- Evening and night shifts may be required.
- Commitment to safety standards and regulations governing electrical work.

Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour

- commercial construction in BC: 2 years (required)
