Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Taper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces by applying joint compound, taping seams, and creating smooth, professional wall finishes. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality and aesthetic of our construction projects, ensuring spaces are ready for painting and final touches. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in drywall finishing while working on diverse commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply joint compound (also known as mud) to drywall seams, corners, and screw holes with precision and efficiency
- Tape drywall joints using appropriate techniques to ensure seamless surfaces
- Sand and smooth finished surfaces to prepare them for painting or further finishing work
- Install corner beads and other finishing accessories as needed for a clean edge
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and ensure accurate application of finishes
- Caulk gaps and joints to enhance wall durability and appearance
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to complete projects on schedule and uphold quality standards
Requirements
- Atleast, 3 year of experience in Drywall Taping specially in commercial projects.
- Must have his own car. ( gas will be provided)
- Ability to put lasered beads, sand to perfection.
- Strong english speaking skills.
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation, taping tools, sanding equipment, and related materials
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finishes
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights when necessary

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
