Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Painter to join our team. This position involves applying paint, stain, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting, restoration, and industrial painting, with excellent communication skills and a focus on quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stains, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools with attention to detail
- Perform residential, commercial, and industrial painting tasks according to project requirements
- Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding safely and efficiently
- Operate power tools for minor repairs or modifications before painting
- Adhere to deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met or exceeded
Experience
- experience in painting, restoration, or related fields is an asset
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and rigging or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial painting practices is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively
- This position requires a dedicated individual capable of delivering high-quality results while maintaining safety standards. Candidates should possess relevant experience in painting or restoration projects and demonstrate proficiency with various tools and techniques used in the trade.
