As a Cloud Architect, you will work on one of the world's largest social media platform which deals with a few petabytes of data coming to the system daily. You will chip in as part of R&D self-organized team working in a bold, innovative environment for our client.
Investigate, build, and implement the solutions for many technical challenges using groundbreaking technologies, including building/improving Bigdata processing platform enabling work of software used by hundreds of millions of users
- Ensures that assigned area/areas are delivered within set deadlines and required quality objectives.
- Create blueprints for hybrid cloud infrastructures centred around AWS (network, server, storage, security, and management software topologies), Run technical workshops and advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions.
- Ensure that a quality solution is delivered in a timely manner, within budget, and to our client's satisfaction.
- Participate in architecture definition for Cloud Initiatives applying industry standard methodologies and technologies.
- Provide hands-on, prototypes, and implementations incorporating cloud engineering standard methodologies, Develop technical content like white paper etc.
- Design, implement and maintain pipelines that produce business critical data optimally and efficiently using cloud technology.
- Create a well-informed cloud strategy and handle the adaption process.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
- Develop and organize cloud systems.
- Work closely with IT security to supervise the company's cloud privacy.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to optimally meet the strategic needs.
- Evaluating existing data systems.
- Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
- Understand the business drivers and analytical use-cases and translate these to data products.
- Addresses area-level risks, provides and implements mitigation plan.
- Reports about area readiness/quality, and raise red flags in crisis situations which are beyond responsibilities.
- Responsible for resolving crisis situations within responsibilities.
- Suggests technical and functional improvements to chip in to the product.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience with AWS Cloud services (AWS).
- Authority in Python coding language.
- Experience with Automation provisioning using Terraform.
- Vast Experience with Active Directory, IAM, Roles
- Expert in AWS Architecture, VPC Networking, Terraform, AWS Primitives and resource limits at massive scale, Expert in Python another coding languages.
- Co-Design AWS Account Creation Automation, Implementation of Egress Design, Assist with cost saving network architecture changes.
- Demonstrated experience in solution design, architecture, and deployment of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security standard methodologies, and cloud infrastructure architecture.
- Deep understanding of cloud component architecture: Microservices, Containers, IaaS, Storage, Security, Knowledge of routing/switching technologies.
- Good knowledge of cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and deployment models related to Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud service.
- Ability to organize and document solutions.
- A passion for streamlining systems and processes to make the difficult trivial.
- Effective communication (oral & written), collaboration, and communication skills.
- Result oriented approach.
Would be a plus: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional level certification
