We are seeking Seasonal Farm Help to join our dedicated team at Ferguson Farms Inc. This role is vital for supporting our farming operations, particularly during peak seasons when demand is high. Located in a dynamic agricultural environment, you will play an essential part in maintaining our crops and ensuring the smooth operation of our farm.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops as needed.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to crop management and market operations.
- Help with irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops.
- Picking, Packing and Delivery of orders to various local retailers
- Supporting off-site farmers markets working directly with the public
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in farming is preferred.
- Valid G license
