Job Overview
We are seeking a Asphalt Foreman, Experienced Concrete Finishers, and labourers to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with asphalt/concrete paving projects and supporting heavy equipment operation to ensure efficient and safe project completion. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to high-quality infrastructure development.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and placement of asphalt/concrete during paving operations
- Operate or support the operation of heavy equipment such as rollers, loaders, and compactors
- Help with site setup, including traffic control and safety barriers
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency
- Support team members in various construction tasks related to asphalt installation
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during daily operations
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred
- Knowledge of paving techniques and construction site safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills related to asphalt paving and construction processes
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
