Line West Ltd. specializes in painted pavement markings for highways, county roads and city roadways throughout Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a Class 3 Driver / Labourer to immediately join our roadway pavement marking crews.
During our busy season (April - November), the right candidates MUST be willing to work seven days per week with extended hours - including day shifts, night shifts and weekends. Shifts will vary by job assignment, with the opportunity to earn overtime pay. Individuals must be self-motivated, hardworking, reliable and willing to work away from home, for several days at a time.
MUST LIVE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO OUR SHOP IN ALDERSYDE, Alberta. You will be required to meet the crew at our shop before heading to the assigned job.
Qualifications:
- Valid CLASS 3 license
- Posses clean drivers Abstract
- Forklift Experience (considered an asset)
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
- Adhere to Company policies including safety and commercial vehicle policies
- Safely maintain and operate company equipment
- Assist in placing signs, cones, and barricades
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Load, unload , and transport pavement marking material and equipment
- Operate pavement marking equipment (training provided)
- Other related duties and tasks as required
- Must be physically fit and be able to lift approximately 50lbs
