At Yo-Yo Cookies®, we're looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our retail team. Every day you'll meet visitors from across Canada and around the world while representing one of PEI's best-known premium food brands.
This is much more than standing behind a counter. We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy talking with customers, sharing our story, and creating memorable experiences that keep people coming back.
Applicants must be available to start immediately and be able to commit to working through December 2026.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming locals, tourists, and cruise ship visitors.
- Creating memorable customer experiences.
- Recommending products, offering samples, and confidently making sales.
- Sharing the Yo-Yo Cookies® story and introducing customers to our premium products.
- Learning our products so you can confidently answer customer questions.
- Keeping the store clean, organized, fully stocked, and looking its best throughout every shift.
- Working independently during many shifts while taking pride in running the store.

Retail Experience
We're looking for applicants with experience in specialty retail, boutique stores, gift shops, tourism, premium food retail, fashion retail, or similar customer-focused sales environments.
Because this position focuses on building customer relationships and actively selling premium products, we're looking for experience beyond high-volume transactional roles. Applicants with consultative retail sales experience will be given preference.
Availability (Please Read Carefully)
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be available for a minimum of four (4) shifts each week.
- Be available to work both weekdays and weekends.
- Be able to commit to the role through December 2026.
If you aren't available on both weekdays and weekends, this position unfortunately won't be the right fit.
Important Information
- We operate 7 days a week.
- Shifts are scheduled around cruise ship arrivals and retail demand.
- Hours can range between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with most shifts lasting approximately 5 hours.
- This is a casual position, so minimum weekly hours cannot be guaranteed.
- Many shifts are worked independently, so being self-motivated and able to take ownership is essential.
