What you will do
Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Operations, the Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the Inventory and Order Management Project and taskforce team to achieve the project objectives and key results within the project timeframe and budget.
This position plays a key role in the success of the project and will undertake a wide variety of tasks related to managing supply chain risk, including:
Leading a temporary task force to address the increase in stock outs and back orders;
Cleaning and standardizing data;
Developing a forecasting tool for identified critical items;
Developing new processes and reporting tools to manage critical supplies and the substitute process in collaboration with clinicians, including a supply chain customer service helpdesk and communication strategy.
This position is temporary until approximately March 31, 2022.
What you will bring
Four (4) year undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field;
Project Management and Supply Chain related certificate, or designation with a professional association;
Seven (7) years’ experience in Distribution and/or Supply Chain Operations;
Five (5) years’ experience as a project manager or lead in a supply chain, warehouse or health services environment;
Previous project management experience on complex internal warehouse, inventory, distribution or order management projects;
Strong written and verbal skills to communicate across external suppliers and internal different departments and all levels of leadership;
Computer literacy with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management and database applications;
Intermediate Power BI and Excel Analytical Skills;
Strong knowledge and experience of inventory and order management platforms (ideally Oracle);
Relevant healthcare supply chain (warehouse, distribution, inventory, purchasing and scanning) industry knowledge and experience;
Business acumen with strong analytical, problem identification and resolution skills;
Self-motivated and adaptable with an aptitude for innovation, performance management and process improvement;
Exceptional project management skills;
Strong relationship management and communication skills and ability to build and maintain positive working relations.
