Magna Mining Inc. is a Sudbury-focused, base metal exploration and development company.
Magna Mining’s key objective is to become the next nickel and copper producing company in Canada by executing a growth strategy that is focused exclusively on the historic nickel producing district of Sudbury, ON.
We intend to achieve this objective via the creation of a Sudbury focused, hub and spoke production model, with our existing Shakespeare project as the hub. The path to the creation of a significant new battery metals producing Canadian company is to execute a long term, multi-faceted growth strategy.
We are currently seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team at McCreedy West!

Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in equipment.

Conduct routine inspections on equipment to check for wear, damage, and safety compliance.

Ensure equipment is safe and operational before use, with a focus on maintaining compliance with Ontario's mining regulations and safety standards.

Use diagnostic tools and technology to monitor the health of key systems and components.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime by performing quick repairs and troubleshooting.

Work efficiently under pressure to avoid halting production, while maintaining a focus on safety.
Qualifications: Formal Education, Certifications or Equivalents

Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent certification/experience.

Certification of Qualification or red seal is preferred.
Work Experience: Nature & Length

Minimum of 3 years of experience.
