Job Summary
We are a family-owned company looking for a reliable and skilled Class 1/3 Driver to join our team. This position involves operating dump trucks and supporting the crew with labour tasks. We're seeking someone who’s a team player and willing to pitch in wherever needed on the job site.
Duties
- Operate Class 3 vehicles (typically dump trucks) to transport materials to and from job sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Assist with ground labour duties when not operating the truck
- Communicate with site foremen and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
- Represent the company professionally on-site and with the public
Skills
- Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license
- Experience driving dump trucks or similar vehicles
- Willingness to perform labour tasks on job sites when not driving
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to operate heavy machinery considered an asset
