If we’ve caught your attention, you should know that we’re currently recruiting for a permanent, part time Permit Services Clerk to provide support to our fast growing city!

This position provides customer service and information to the public, developers, contractors, businesses and City staff on development, building and discipline permits, business licenses and taxi operator permits, along with issuing various discipline permits, and processes all permits. It also provides stenographic, receptionist and records management for the functional area.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and/or completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school, and one to three years’ experience in an office environment, municipal planning experience preferred. Experience of enforcement processes or practices and dealing with difficult people, and CityView software experience are considered an asset. The successful candidate must be willing to provide a current Criminal Records Check as part of the hiring process.
