Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Landscaper to join our team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments through skilled landscaping practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and construction-related tasks, with proficiency in operating various tools and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring the health and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for excavation and site preparation task .
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, and other landscaping activities
- Assist with construction projects such as retaining walls, pathways, or patios as needed
- Maintain equipment through routine mechanical checks and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols during all landscaping operations to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture fields with a MINIMUM of two years experience
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and spades
- Experience using power tools including trimmers, blowers, drills, and saws
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair techniques
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant care best practices
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of construction techniques related to landscape projects is a plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred for equipment operation or site travel requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$29.55 per hour
