About the Position
Thi Hoang Ngan Thach (Lucy Thach) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a private residence in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition. The successful candidate will perform a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure the home is well maintained and comfortable.
Main Duties:
· Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors.
· Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
· Dust furniture, fixtures, and household surfaces.
· Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
· Make beds and change linens.
· Launder, fold, and iron household linens and clothing.
· Empty trash containers and dispose of waste appropriately.
· Restock household supplies and cleaning products as needed.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of all rooms and common areas.
· Report any maintenance or repair issues to the employer.
Employment Requirements
- No formal education required.
- Language: English and Vietnamese is an asset
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset. 7 months to less than 1 year of related work experience.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and detail oriented.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying household items.

- 4% vacation pay.
- Overtime pay in accordance with British Columbia Employment Standards legislation.
