Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to maintain high-quality standards and efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise team members, including servers, line cooks, and junior staff, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Manage restaurant activities by coordinating schedules, overseeing food handling procedures, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
- Lead by example in food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling protocols.
- Support restaurant management in training new staff, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to resolve issues and enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Experienced Servers preferred but willing to train.
- Supervising experience or prior leadership roles within a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Sous Chef with at least 5-7 years experience
- Line cooks with 3-5 years experience
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse staff members.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members.
- Experience with restaurant management systems or point-of-sale (POS) technology is a plus.
