We are seeking self-motivated Data Analysts, who are obsessed with delivering value, are forward-thinking, and excited to see the successful implementation of the products they deliver. We are seeking candidates in all major hubs, and we do allow work from home as well

As a Data Analyst on the Data Governance team, you will:
Educate business executives and SMEs in the security and benefits of the Enterprise Data Lake, and ensure Data Share Agreements are signed
Manage Access Control List processes, documenting who should have access to what data, and ensuring regular reviews are completed through our IIQ tool
Manage metadata tools to understand what data exists in the Data Lake, and where it comes from
Persuade business unit subject matter experts to review metadata and provide definitions of data fields
Create dashboards with Power BI to present users with information about the data in the Data Lake
Analyze and report on Data Quality, and recommend ways to improve it
You will bring and continuously build upon the following skills:

Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes across all levels in the organization
Experimenting with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement
Understanding of the fundamentals of investment products, securities and/or financial services in support of our service or product offerings (or are ready to learn by doing!)

Strong Communication skills: verbal and written, large and small audiences, technical and non-technical
Analytical mind for investigating metadata and data quality information to find the good and the bad
Ability to tell an interesting and accurate story about data
Experience with technical tools such as: SQL, Power BI, Cloudera Data Steward Studio, Informatica Data Quality, MS Excel
Capable of persuading busy people that data needs their attention
Organized: able to keep track of details, especially actions that need to happen, who needs to do them
