We are currently looking for an Inbound Logistics Coordinator within our expanding Logistics team. This is a role with great opportunity for career growth!
Key Job Responsibilities:
This individual is responsible for ensuring the sales records and financial data are complete, accurate, tidy and timely maintained and maintaining appropriate policies, processes, practices to continuously improve sales and accounting operational efficiency, quality of output and optimize synergies. This individual is also responsible for sales credits inputs, sales accounting and managing special tasks, preparing ad-hoc reports and other duties as request. This individual must closely coordinate with various departments (Sales, Product, Service etc.) for implementing and communicating various initiatives.
Tracking and Tracing the inbound containers
Pick up numbers update to the drayage carriers
Sending order/coordination/delivery appt with the trucker
Updating of the Container tracking report with new documents and provide status updates to Sales Team
Communicating and tracking shipping documents with HQ operation
Administration and bill payments for 3PL, Drayage , Steamship lines
Demurrage and Detention investigation and processing
Other duties as assigned
SAP System Processing
Expense accrual and receiving container on SAP
Support for Inventory Reconciliation and SAP Inventory reports validation
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with SAP – Inventory Management, Order Processing and Goods Receipt
- Must have adequate skills in Word and Excel, with the ability to use databases and other computer systems
- Experience with SPS Commerce and Commerce Hub
- Sound analytical and organizational skills, business judgement
- Strong interpersonal, team leadership and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, manage conflicting priorities and problem solve within tight timelines
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience with electronics and home appliances is an asset
- Educational background in business or supply chain management preferred
- Mandarin speaking is a strong asset
