Insight is continually growing and is currently looking for contract Registered Psychologists in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists who:
- Have significant (more than 5 years) post-registration clinical experience, with additional training and experience as a clinical and assessment supervisor.
- Are knowledgeable and experienced with a range of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.
- Have additional training and specialization in one or more of Insight’s TARGETED SPECIALTY AREAS, especially experience/expertise in working with couples, family, and children.
- Are able to work at our location(s) in Edmonton South/North/West/Downtown, Sherwood Park, or Calgary.
- Are willing and able to be named as primary and/or secondary supervisor on the College of Alberta Psychologists supervision plan of one or more Insight Psychological Registered Provisional Psychologist(s). The successful candidate will ensure that they are able to coordinate a consistent supervision meeting arrangement with the Registered Provisional Psychologist(s) in adherence to the College of Alberta Psychologists’ Standards for Supervision requirements.
Compensation rate is up to $155 per hour, depending on your experience, expertise, and role. COUNSELLING/THERAPY - Successful candidates would have training and experience in providing therapy as well as clinical supervision in one or more of the following areas:
- Trauma
- Addictions
- Couples/Marital/Relationship Issues, especially issues related to intimacy, infidelity, trust, and divorce/separation.
- Family and Reunification Issues
- Parenting Issues
- Young Children 3+ Issues
- Adolescent/Teen Issues
We also seek clinical supervisors with training and experience in the following areas:
- Abuse/Assault – Sexual, Intimate Partner, Family, and Workplace
- Grief and Loss
- Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disability Related Issues
- Depression, Anxiety, Stress
- Self-esteem
- LGBTQIA+ Issues Gender Issues
- Anger and Other Behaviour Concerns Management
- ADHD
Assessment Services - Successful candidates would have training and/or experience in conducting and supervising one or more of the following types of assessment:
- Psycho-educational
- Parenting and Custody/Access
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Training and/or experience in delivering assessments in the following areas are an asset:
- Neuropsychological
- Psychological
- Personality and Behavioural
- Functional Capacity
- Forensic
- Vocational/Career
- General Aptitude
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology.
- Must be a Registered Psychologist, in good standing, with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
- Significant (more than 5 years) post-registration clinical experience, with additional training and experience as a clinical and assessment supervisor.
- Solid competency in the administration and interpretation of psychological instruments and the writing of psychological reports.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with a range of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbal and written), with superior coaching and mentorship skills.
- Diligently maintains client files.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- High level of professionalism, including punctuality, ethical conduct, and confidentiality
- High Integrity, adheres to ethical standards, and maintains honesty and professionalism
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Proficiency in MS Office and full computer literacy.
