MTE Logistix Group of Companies is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor champion to join our team. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, this exciting opportunity is responsible to cultivate a continuous improvement safety culture, supporting the development and delivery of safety programs and training, administering safety processes, and maintaining databases.

Location: A7 Warehouse - 11208 189 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 2V6.
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Occasional travel between warehouse when required. All of our warehouse are located on the west side of Edmonton within a 10 min drive from each other. Some travel to Calgary is required.

Your experience in delivering training and developing programs and your communication and listening skills are second to none. What will you Do
Support management and employees in the implementation and administration of the Health and Safety Management System through educational programs, compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, health and safety initiatives, inspections, risk assessments, hazard analysis, and incident investigations.
- Maintain health and safety program/training documentation and participate in the development of health and safety performance measures, KPIs, incident and injury trending, and the corrective action database.
- Case Management through the administration of injury reports, WCB claims, and OIS clinic matters, modified and return to work plans, and track company WCB and TRIF performance records.
- Attend Safety Meetings, prepare educational materials, and deliver Health & Safety presentations
- Assist with the development of our health and safety business plan and objectives
- Conduct and coordinate employee and contractor health and safety orientations.
What you need to succeed
Must-have
Post-secondary education and 2 years of experience in health and safety or a risk-management-related discipline from a recognized educational institution. Preference is given to applicants who have or are working towards an NCSO, CRSP, or CSP designation with 3 years of administrative experience.
- Must have ACSA Auditor accreditation.
- Strong understanding and experience with WCB claim management, Health & Safety programs, regulatory requirements, incident investigations, COR audits, and developing and delivering training
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel experience.

Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
