YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate and explain on a regular basis the mission and expectations to your team members in order to achieve the performance objectives established in terms of health and safety at work, quality, productivity, employee development and management costs, in addition to informing management of critical issues.
Act as a model and coach by promoting teamwork, innovation, development and the autonomy of work teams in a healthy climate conducive to communication;
Promote good working relationships in partnership with the human resources team and the Labor Relations Committee while ensuring the application of policies;
Supervise and support a team committed and involved in continuous improvement and elimination of waste while referring to the right stakeholders if necessary;
Analyze, find the causes and generate solutions to non-conformities and risks in terms of health and safety while mobilizing your team to seek innovative and sustainable solutions;
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
College degree in industrial management or any other related discipline;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct supervision.
Excellent communicator, team player and good influence skills;
Ability to analyze and resolve production issues;
Ability to delegate and develop your team;
Good interpersonal skills and good ability to work in a partnership mode (human resources / Work relationship committee / Management);
Good organizational skills, good management of priorities and sense of initiative;
Ability to influence and mobilize;
Ability to communicate in French both orally and in writing; Knowledge of Word, Excel and SAP software;
Be available to work on day and evening shifts.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing (an asset)
The position is located in Valcourt in the Operations sectors.
