MLW CPAs is a busy mid-sized firm with 4 partners and two offices located in Victoria and on Salt Spring Island. We offer our clients a full range of accounting and tax services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual seeking a career in public practice. This position is located in Victoria, standard hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with overtime expected in March and April. Based on individual circumstances, hours can be negotiated.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following duties :
- Preparation of personal tax returns
- Bookkeeping
- Front desk and phone reception
- Other general administrative and accounting related tasks
Skills and experience required:
- Public Practice experience preferred
- Accounting Technician, Bookkeeper
- Experience with Caseware, Profile, Sage, QuickBooks
- Adherence to high standards of professional and ethical conduct
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet regular deadlines
Salary to be determined based on qualifications and experience. To be reviewed after 3 months.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
