The Position
APX Services is seeking Operators who can operate 580 or 5910 heavy-duty ride-on mower. You will be responsible for assisting your crew lead with prep at the start of the day, performing various landscaping tasks throughout the day, and site and vehicle clean up at the end of the day.
A variety of duties such as the following but not restricted to will be maintained:
- Assist the Crew Lead in preparing the vehicle and equipment for daily operations.
- Operate mowing equipment to maintain assigned areas safely and efficiently.
- Perform litter removal and general site cleanup as required.
- Communicate task completion and request direction from the Crew Lead when necessary.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and safe work practices.
- Basic proficiency with computers, GPS devices, mobile applications, and related technology is considered an asset.
Qualifications
- You MUST be 16 years and older.
- A class 5 Driver’s License is a strong asset, Driver’s Abstract.
- Experience operating 580/5910 heavy-duty, commercial-grade ride-on mower or similar mowers, forklifts, or other mobile industrial equipment.
- A High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) will be considered an asset.
- Safety tickets such as WHMIS and First Aid will be an asset.

Working Conditions: This position requires physically demanding work in all types of weather conditions during the summer seasons. Transportation is required as there is NO TRANSIT.
