CFO is leading a trusted, prosperous, and sustainable chicken industry. Representing over 1,300 family farms in the province, CFO is responsible for a growing, profitable and sustainable chicken industry.
The Business Services Associate at CFO works with the CFO team, farmers and stakeholders to provide technical and administrative support from our corporate office located in Guelph.
The role will work collaboratively with all CFO functional groups, and an interest in learning about the broiler industry and the Ontario agriculture sector.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Farmer and Stakeholder Support
· Provide administrative support and customer service to farmers and stakeholders as CFO transitions to a new farmer-facing portal over the next 12 months.
· Act as a liaison with the various CFO departments to resolve farmer and stakeholder issues, and work cross functionality with various teams to provide information and resolve issues
· Act as front line staff on occasion, assisting visitors in a professional and courteous demeanor
· Assist with other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
· College Diploma or Degree in Office Business Administration, Agriculture or Commerce or related Education or Experience
Experience
· 1-2 years of experience in customer service, program support, customer relationship management, administration, or project support roles
Competencies
· Passion to succeed
· Advanced Microsoft Office Suite
· Customer relationship management database experience is an asset
· Multiline telephone systems such as RingCentral is an asset
· Customer-focused service and support with an ability to understand customer needs
· Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate across various channels – phone, email, chat functions
· Problem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys interacting with others
· Ability to balance multiple priorities within deadlines
· Ability to enter information into ticketing systems with high degree of accuracy
· Willingness to learn more about various computer systems and the chicken sector in general
· Develop and maintain working relationships in a cross-functional environment
· Experience and/or understanding of the agricultural sector would be an asset
· Bilingual French Speaking would be an asset
COMPENSATION AND DISCLOSURE
Location: Guelph, ON (Corporate Office)
Status: Full Time hours, CONTRACT, Non-Hybrid
Duration: One (1) year contract starting August 28, 2026
Salary Range: $52,000 - $58,000 per year.
