JOB SUMMARY: Your role as an Applications Engineer will report to the Vice President, Engineering. You will provide engineering and technical support to the Sales team, Operations, and Tier 1 clients to ensure that our service quality results in complete customer satisfaction. This will serve as a functional link between the Tier 1 Energy segments with regard to new technologies and existing products and services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership and accountability of the Wireline Business segment from an Engineering and technical standpoint
- Be the binding link for product development and support between product line, operations, R&D, and sustaining engineering
- Assist in coordinating with the product line, technical sales, operations, and R&D during the development process to ensure that the new product becomes “what the customer wants.”
- Provide input to the required skills needed to sustain services and products locally
- Provide pertinent installation drawings, documentation and other technical support
- Collaborate with on-site operations staff to ensure job procedure is clearly understood and accomplished in a safe and efficient manner
- Search and identify synergies between / across product lines
- Maintain and track job data
- Be part of the team involved with investigations into product and service non-conformances
- Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor safely, efficiently, and according to established standards and guidelines
- Assist the Wireline Supervisor’s in the troubleshooting of tools and equipment
- Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies at Tier 1 Energy Solutions
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor and or manager within the physical constraints of the job

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Sitting at a computer for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
- Results from a pre-employment test must be deemed acceptable in accordance to Tier 1’s policies;
- 5 years drivers abstract must be in compliant with Tier 1’s guidelines;
- Results from a back ground check must be deemed acceptable in accordance to Tier 1’s guidelines;
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
