Job description
Spray Foam Technician
O’Reilly Brothers Ltd. – Ottawa, ON
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Installation of 2lbs closed cell spray-foam on various construction details and substrates.
- Daily truck and equipment inspection.
- Check that chemical supplies are sufficient for the day and tools are maintained.
- Clarify work with Project Manager and any additional materials that may be required.
- Job site inspection for safety
- Job site preparation and take-down, including additional work prepping such as removal and installing baffles according to established guidelines.
- When a job is more than one day, make sure site is safe and secure between visits.
- Prepare and run machinery for insulation with cellulose and spray foam.
- Machinery maintenance, problem solving, and repairs
- Complete required paperwork for spray foam and clean work area when complete.
- Work with Project Manager when problem solving is required
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a spray foam installer installing 2 lbs spray foam.
- Ability to survey the jobsite and take steps to prevent and protect against overspray. This includes premises and vehicles parked near spray areas.
- Prior spray foam experience is a must and only candidate with experience will be contacted.
- Drivers license with clean abstract
- Must be comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Spray foam license.
- Experience driving large trucks.
- Clear criminal background check.
