This is an inventory of potential candidates to fill upcoming employment opportunities at the PM-03 or PM-04 level within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch at Indigenous Services Canada, Quebec Region.

The first pull of candidate applications could happen as early as Spring 2018.

The inventory will be updated every 120 days. You will receive a notice in your applicant account 10 days before the end of your active period to determine whether or not you wish to keep being considered for an additional 120 days.

Work environment
The incumbent will work in one of the various sections of the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch in the Quebec Region, and will have a chance to contribute to maintaining and improving the health of First Nations and Inuit as well as promoting greater First Nations autonomy on decisions affecting their communities.

Intent of the process
This process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates which may be used to staff positions with various linguistic profiles, various tenures such as indeterminate, term and casual positions within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch, Indigenous Services Canada, Quebec Region. Should the selected candidate already be a public servant, the pool could also be used for acting appointments.

The intent is also to staff positions via the Aboriginal Peoples Employment Program (APEP), which aims to strategically increase Aboriginal representation within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB). As such, Organizational Needs may be applied and first consideration may be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to Aboriginal Peoples.

  • College diploma in a field related to the position OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
