Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Craft Beer/Cocktails and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in delivering a seamless experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary to maintain stock.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Assist in training new bartenders or bar staff as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices in bartending and customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending 2-3 years experience or food service is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within the restaurant or food industry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on helping customers feel valued and appreciated.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
