We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and client-focused Medical Aesthetician to join our growing medical aesthetics team.
This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to take a leading role in developing and managing our aesthetics department within an established medical clinic. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the department, contribute to treatment offerings and protocols, build a strong client base, and play an important role in its long-term growth.
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of advanced skincare treatments, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in delivering exceptional client care while helping build a successful aesthetics practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of advanced facial and skincare treatments, which may include medical-grade facials, microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, and other aesthetic treatments offered by the clinic.
- Take an active leadership role in the development and growth of the aesthetics department.
- Help establish treatment protocols, workflows, service standards, and client-care processes.
- Conduct thorough skin consultations and assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate clients regarding appropriate skincare routines, treatment options, and home-care products.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client documentation, including treatment notes, recommendations, and follow-up plans.
- Follow clinic protocols for infection prevention, sanitation, equipment care, and client safety.
- Deliver a welcoming, professional, and high-quality client experience from consultation through follow-up.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with clients and encourage appropriate return visits.
- Recommend additional treatments and skincare products when they would benefit the client.
- Help identify opportunities to introduce new treatments, technologies, and skincare products.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, administrative staff, and other members of the aesthetics team.
- Participate in clinic marketing, educational initiatives, social media content, and promotional activities where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Recognized education, certification, or diploma in aesthetics or medical aesthetics.
- Strong hands-on experience providing professional skincare and facial treatments.
- Previous experience in a medical aesthetics clinic, medical spa, dermatology clinic, plastic surgery practice, or similar environment is required.
- Knowledge of advanced skincare treatments, professional skincare products, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to client safety.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable discussing treatment recommendations and skincare products with clients in a professional, non-pressure manner.
- Strong customer-service skills and an interest in developing long-term client relationships.
- Leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset are considered significant assets.
