Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Case worker to join our team. As an Immigration Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and assistance to clients navigating the immigration process. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals and businesses with their immigration needs, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations with clients to assess their immigration needs and determine the best course of action
- Prepare and submit immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documents on behalf of clients
- Assist clients in gathering required documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness of all paperwork
- Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the entire immigration process
- Communicate with government agencies, embassies, and consulates on behalf of clients
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case details
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for complex cases
Experience:
- Proven 1 to 2 years of experience as an Immigration Case Worker
- In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Strong experience of various categories, including work permits, student visas, family sponsorship, PNP's, Express Entry, LMIA's, Visit Visas, citizenships etc.
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Officer, PDF etc
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Strong negotiation skills to advocate for clients' interests during the immigration process
- Demonstrated project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Exceptional writing skills for preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Punjabi Language is an asset
