Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Ensure all areas are maintained according to company standards for cleanliness and appearance
Skills
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain confidentiality when required
