Overview:
TELUS' premier vendor partner is looking for a motivated professional to represent TELUS Communications as a Project Manager. The TELUS Mall and Experiential Events team is a dynamic, innovative, and forward-thinking. A marketing team that gets things done. From strategic planning to execution, our team delivers best-in-class customer experiences across the Mall, Retail, and Event space, while driving brand awareness and sales for all lines of the TELUS business.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Working with our premier vendor partner as the Project Manager, you will drive the macro deliverables of the Mall and Experiential Events Marketing team. Managing mall, vendor, and partner relationships, you will support the planning and execution of project deliverables.
- Program Planning: Mall calendar building, activity scheduling, project briefs.
- Relationship Management: Outreach & discovery, leasing & contract negotiations and bookings (mall management, storage vendors, shipping and install vendors).
- Budget Management: Monthly mall leasing budget and invoice scheduling. Quarterly mall kiosk repair budget. Vendor payments (malls, storage, shipping and install).
- Resource Planning and Task Management: Work-back schedule and deliverable development. KPI tracking.
- Presentation: Sharing project progress and reviews with both internal team members and leadership team.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
You have 3-5+ years of experience in a Project or Brand Management role within a Marketing Agency or Communications company, where you supported projects from inception to launch.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel: Project tracking and budget management.
- Knowledge of Google Suite: Slides, Excel, Documents and Sheets.
- Budget forecasting and management: Monthly budgeting, ensuring all malls and vendors are paid in a timely manner and monthly budget forecast is met.
- Project management tools and dashboards.
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to sell your vision and provide project progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Negotiation: Confident working through leasing and contract negotiations with malls and vendors.
- Collaboration: Confident engaging a broad set of internal and external stakeholders and collaborating with all levels of the leadership team.
- Organization: Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently; anticipates needs and takes initiative.
- Problem Solving: Able to easily pivot and find new, innovative solutions.
Great-To-Haves
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- Industry experience working for or with a Marketing Agency
- Experiential event marketing execution
- Known for your ambitious spirit, bias for action, and outstanding customer orientation
