Summer Bible Camp Educator (Summer Contract Position)Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) / Summer Camp Educator to join our team for our summer Bible camp program. The successful candidate will help create a safe, nurturing, and faith-based environment where children can learn, grow, and build positive relationships.
The educator will support children through Christian-planned activities, including Bible stories, prayer, worship, crafts, music, outdoor play, games, and hands-on learning experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and is committed to supporting their spiritual, social, emotional, and developmental growth.
Responsibilities
- Follow and implement the prepared Christian summer camp program and daily activities.
- Support Bible lessons, prayer time, worship, and character-building activities.
- Provide a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for children.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Encourage kindness, respect, teamwork, and positive behaviour.
- Assist with crafts, games, songs, learning activities, and group experiences.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Support children’s individual needs through patience and positive guidance.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare, school, Montessori, or camp setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lead and participate in children’s activities.
- Positive attitude and passion for working with children.
- Comfortable supporting a Christian-based program and values.
- Current First Aid/CPR and Vulnerable Sector Check required.

- Follow all camp policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain professionalism and act as a positive role model for children.
- Provide active supervision at all times.
- Use respectful and positive guidance strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with children, families, and staff.
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to participate in daily camp activities.
Position Type: Summer Contract Position
